The SKiPPER system

SKiPPER is a skeleton-based parallel programming environment. Several versions of SKiPPER were developed at LASMEA between 1995 and 2002. This one, labeled D is the last one. Its runtime system is based upon a macro-dataflow interpreter.

The latest version can be downloaded here. Warning This version is still largely experimental and is only provided for research purposes. Any feedback welcome !

The first paper is a general account on the SKiPPER project. The second one describes more specifically the implementation mechanisms used in SKiPPER-D.
